Nel racconto gotico che chiude l'Albo, il tempo lascia il segno sul volto e nel cuore di chi viene colpito dall'ingiustizia degli uomini. Il tema della violenza di genere sarà predominante, incentrato su quella ancor più subdola della violenza domestica, per sensibilizzare l'animo umano.
