Some children are housed inside a mysterious structure with a green area. During a test, Tokio receives a fleeting message that reads: "Would you like to go outside?", and from that moment he begins to wonder what the world outside is like. Elsewhere, Maru and Kiruko, engaged in a daily struggle for survival in what remains of Japan, are in search of "paradise"... While stopping in a tent city, Maru and Kiruko learn of a mysterious religious group that seems to perform strange operations on people, where the doctor Kiruko is looking for could be found. Dentro a una misteriosa struttura dotata di un'area verde sono ospitati dei ragazzini. Durante una verifica, Tokio riceve un fugace messaggio che recita: "Vorresti andare all'esterno dell'esterno?", e da quel momento comincia a chiedersi come sia il mondo al di fuori.
