And precisely to earn the money needed to redeem the beloved vehicle, removed by the police, Susumu agrees to undergo Trepanation, a skull surgery aimed at awakening man's dormant senses. The experiment is conducted and financed by a rich and eccentric medical student, curious to delve into the world of the paranormal... Hideo Yamamoto signs this highly original and intriguing story: a dark journey into the human soul, and a magnificent example of mature and unscrupulous.

Susumu è uno strano e misterioso individuo, con un passato da nascondere e il vizio della menzogna. Indossa un completo, ha un aspetto distinto, eppure è un senzatetto. E proprio per guadagnare i soldi necessari a riscattare l'amato veicolo, rimosso dalla polizia, Susumu accetta di sottoporsi alla Trapanazione, un intervento chirurgico al cranio teso a destare i sensi sopiti dell'uomo.
