Susumu is a mysterious individual, with a past to hide and a habit of lying. he has a distinct appearance, yet he is homeless. he lives on the edge of a park, the permanent residence of a group of homeless people, and although he often joins them, at the same time he keeps his distance, demonstrating distrust towards anyone. the only thing he is tied to is his car, a kind of maternal womb, which he feels a morbid need for. and precisely to earn the money necessary to redeem the beloved vehicle, Susumu agrees to undergo skull surgery aimed at awakening the man's dormant senses. the experiment makes him able to perceive grotesque visions, which he understands to be the projection of the psyche of the people with whom he shares something. these psycho-somatic experiences awaken Susumu's painful past, who although he would like to escape his ghosts, understands that facing them is the only solution he has to stop tormenting himself.

susumu è misterioso individuo, con un passato da nascondere e il vizio della menzogna. ha un aspettodistinto, eppure è un senzatetto. vive ai margini di un parco, residenza fissa di un gruppo di clochard, e sebbene spesso si unisca a loro, allo stesso tempo mantiene le distanze, dimostrando diffidenza verso chiunque. l'unica cosa a cui è legato è la sua macchina, una specie di ventre materno, di cui sente il morboso bisogno. e proprio per guadagnare i soldi necessari a riscattare l'amato veicolo, susumu accetta di sottoporsi a un intervento chirurgico al cranio teso a destare i sensi sopiti dell'uomo. l'esperimento lo rende in grado di percepire grottesche visioni, che capisce essere la proiezione della psiche delle persone con cui spartisce qualcosa. queste esperienze psico-somatiche risvegliano il doloroso passato di susumu, che sebbene vorrebbe sfuggire ai propri fantasmi, capisce che affrontarli è l'unica soluzione che ha per smettere di tormentarsi.
