Nemmeno a dirlo, a essere scelto per partecipare alla gara sarà proprio Ataru, il cui destino compirà un ulteriore balzo verso la sfortuna... Lamù aiuta una studentessa importunata da un gruppo di teppisti e, dopo averla incoraggiata a non farsi maltrattare, si ritrova a mettere in pratica i suoi stessi insegnamenti affrontando un bullo senza ricorrere alle scariche elettriche. Il suo avversario è nientemeno che il boss del liceo Butsumetsu, che in quanto ad aspetto e forza fisica non sembra nemmeno un essere umano! Si tratta, forse, della situazione più disperata che Lamù abbia mai affrontato...
