In the distant future, a new life form called Houseki, also called Gems (precious stone), is born. The 28 Houseki must fight against the Tsukijin (people of the Moon) who want to attack them and turn them into ornaments. To counter this threat, each Houseki is assigned a specific role such as warrior, doctor, and so on. We follow the adventures of Phos, a Houseki who has not been given any task, although she wishes to become a fighter. It all begins when the manager of the precious jewels, Kongo, asks her to work for a natural history magazine.
