Yuu, an orphan boy who lost his parents in an accident, has always been neglected even by the family he lives with. L'incontro con Haru, una creatura che si presenta come "cane randagio", destabilizza la quotidianità dei due "fratelli". Questa ragazza dalla natura misteriosa, che gode di una particolare immunità grazie al desiderio di Yu, comincia a frequentare spesso casa Hasunuma e si diverte a prendere in giro Yu e Chiyo come se fosse una di famiglia.
