Serialized between 1976 and 1978 and transposed into a series of OAVs in 1989, «Shutendoji» is a cult work by Go Nagai, which tells the dramatic adventures of Jiro Shutendo and his demonic past. A bit like Mira Fudo in «Devilman», Jiro also has to juggle between his demonic part, linked to the Oni, and his human part, in a crescendo of terror and blood in the unique style of his multifaceted creator.
