During the summer of his first year at high school, the young Hokada escapes from his remote native island to take refuge in sprawling Tokyo, where, however, he soon ends up forced to sleep on the streets and face a daily life of hardship and hardship. Meanwhile, in gray and gloomy Tokyo devastated by torrential rains, he deepens his knowledge of the kind and generous waitress Hina, who was the first to extend a hand to him when everything seemed to be collapsing around him.
